My story..

I’m Ally MacPherson, a humanist celebrant based in the beautiful city of Inverness, though my heart will always belong to my roots on the Isle of Skye. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture and traditions of the Highlands, I developed a deep appreciation for meaningful, personal ceremonies and, of course, the timeless sound of the bagpipes.

As a celebrant, I’m passionate about helping people create heartfelt ceremonies that reflect their unique stories and values, whether it’s a wedding, a naming ceremony, or a farewell for a loved one. I bring warmth, authenticity, and a touch of the Highlands to every occasion, ensuring that your special moments are filled with meaning and joy. The Scottish Celebrant

“We chose Ally as our celebrant for our special day. We had an elopement wedding in the Isle of Skye, just for ‘us’. The day was just incredible, Ally was absolutely fantastic, we were so at ease. The ceremony was beautiful, at Sligachan falls, he put together a traditional handfasting ceremony and chose a lovely poem for us which just fit our relationship perfectly. . Not only was it beautiful but we had good fun with him on our adventure.. From booking to the day and even afterwards Ally was there, always checking up and asking if we needed anything. We could not have had anyone else.
